The wedding bells weren’t ringing for Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson.
Despite their engagement in June, the former couple never started planning their nuptials, according to TMZ. The 25-year-old “God Is a Woman” singer and 24-year-old “Saturday Night Live” star never started looking for places, dresses or picking a date.
But a source close to the couple told Page Six there had been preliminary conversations regarding their big day.
Davidson ultimately broke his silence on the split over the weekend while co-hosting the “Judd & Pete for America” benefit with Judd Apatow.
“Well, as you can see, I don’t want to be here. There’s a lot going on, ”Davidson joked, according to E! New. “Does anyone have any open rooms?” Are you looking for a roommate?
The ex-couple inked their bodies with various tattoos dedicated to each other, one of which Davidson covered up before the news broke.
“Um, I covered a bunch of tattoos, it’s fun,” Davidson continued. “I’m f-king zero for two in the tattoo [department]. Yeah, I’m scared of getting my mom tattooed, that’s how bad it is.
Grande said she would take a social media hiatus following her “very sad” separation from Davidson, but it didn’t last long. She deleted her ad and immediately began posting her friends’ Instagram stories, streaming numbers and more.
