Tennis star Andy Murray asks his Instagram followers for help after his tennis shoes were stolen with his wedding ring in California.
In a Wednesday evening message, the three-time Grand Slam champion explained how his shoes were starting to smell after hours of training for the Indian Wells tournament in sunny California on Tuesday, so he decided to let them dry overnight under his car when he went back to his hotel room.

“When I got back to the car in the morning, the shoes were gone,” Murray said in the Instagram video.
At first, Murray says he didn’t realize his ring had also been stolen.
“My tennis shoes for the tournament had been stolen, so I had to go to a local pro’s store and buy different shoes than I normally wear – a different brand and everything – which is not the end. of the world but obviously not ideal, “he said.
“While I was getting ready for my practice, my physiotherapist said to me: ‘Where is your wedding ring? “And I was like ‘oh no'”
Murray said he tied his wedding ring to his shoes when playing tennis because he couldn’t play with his hand.
“So yes, my wedding ring was also stolen,” he said.
Murray wrote in the caption of the article: “Yeah, I know I’m an idiot and looking back it seems like a terrible idea, but I need help.”
